PERAN MANAJERIAL KEPALA SEKOLAH MENINGKATKAN KINERJA SDM PENDIDIKAN DI SEKOLAH

This study aims to describe the managerial role of the principal in improving the performance of human resources (HR) in education in elementary schools. The principal has a major responsibility in managing all aspects of school management, including planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising so that educational goals can be achieved optimally. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis methods. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation of the principal and teachers. The results of the study indicate that the principal plays an important role in improving teacher performance through four main aspects: (1) planning work programs based on the school's vision and mission and analyzing teacher needs; (2) organizing resources effectively; (3) implementing activities that encourage teacher motivation, creativity, and professionalism; and (4) ongoing evaluation and supervision. In addition, the principal also strives to overcome obstacles by improving facili ties and infrastructure and encouraging teacher participation in training and seminars. Thus, the principal's managerial competence has a significant influence on improving the performance of human resources in education in elementary schools
